Corpus Christi here we come

One of Sneed's camping buddies from when we lived in Pittsburgh notified Sneed that he was going to be in the Corpus Christi area for a few days. Immediately, since he hadn't seen Rob in over 10 years, Sneed suggested we drive down and meet Rob and his family for lunch. Not to have the trip (200+ miles each way) be just down and back, we combined it with stopping at a few county courthouses to photograph them for our eventual compilation of all 254 TX county courthouses in a book. As you will see, there are some courthouses which aren't too exciting, but to be a complete reference book we have to include them all.

From top left going clockwise: Refugio County (Refugio), Aransas County (Rockport), San Patricio County (Sinton), Nueces County (Corpus Christi)

We finally (after going across the bridge several times) found the Omni at which Rob's son has been working as manager of the Front Desk for the past year and a half and joined them for lunch across the street at The Railroad Seafood Station. Sneed had met Rob's family on previous trips, but it was my first time. We were also introduced to Morgan, Mark's girlfriend who also works at the Omni.
