We're on our way to Canada!

We stayed at a motel very near the airport so we could get there in time for the early bird flight from Greensboro to Toronto on a Continental turbo prop. We have no problem arriving early and were at the terminal before 5 AM. The Continental counter wasn't even open yet. Fast forward and we're on the plane and ready to go.

I love cloud formations and looking out the window on every flight. It's so interesting to see the land below and try to figure out what area one is gliding over. We got to see the sun rise as we floated along.

After breezing through immigration in Toronto, we got on the road for the 35 mile trip to the Hilton Suites Hotel in Markham. On the way, we saw our first Canadian flag rippling in the breeze. This was not to be the short trip we had imagined. We were traveling on nice highways 8 lanes across but the traffic going North to Markham moved slower than a turtle. Unbelievable! Rush hour traffic in Houston moves faster. Anyway, we found the hotel, got registered for the meet, and relaxed the rest of the day.
