Wish I knew the name of this beautiful pink flowering tree. However, I have it on good authority (a LOL* passed by as I was taking the photo and I engaged her in conversation as is my wont) that the pretty purple tree is a Jacaranda, J pronounced as it is in Jones, not Ha as the Spanish would say. Reason being, the tree is imported from Brazil and they speak Portuguese.
