Sunday, August 14

The rest of the 13th and all of the 14th

We checked into our room that turned out to be a suite. Had a wonderful gas fireplace in the living room area that we used at night to keep warm. Outside the sliding glass window, a wedding was in progress so we stood on the hill and watched the activity below.
Doug works on his 1921 Springfield Silver Ghost while Sneed watches
This is the sight that greeted us on Sunday morning outside our sliding glass door. The gorgeous High Sierra mountains, mist on the golf course (the white patch), and Canadian geese on the golf green. Sneed was in Board meetings all day, entering as Vice President - Activities and exiting as President of the club. I relaxed in the room and posted the trip to Tahoe photos.
Washing off all the dirt and grime picked up on the trip up here, Sneed relaxes and smokes his pipe.
